TCRC Track Meets
TCRC track meets are held weekly from the first week in May through the end of August. The schedule and venue has been modified for 2010 due to construction at the Maine-Endwell track. Track events will initially be held at the Chenango Valley High School track, 221 Chenango Bridge Road, Binghamton, NY.

Regular events are: one mile, 800 meters, 400 meters, and two mile on the track. All ages and all abilities are welcome.

Registration starts at 5:30 and the events start promptly at 6:00. Participation is free for all TCRC members; all non-members are most welcome and will just need to sign a waiver and pay a small (one-time) fee (or join the TCRC). The Red Dress Run, a fund raiser for the Crime Victims Assistance Center, costs an additional nominal amount.

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting is open to members and non-members alike. TCRC members who are present will vote to fill openings on the Board of Directors. There will be an opportunity to discuss matters of interest or concern to the running community. Voting on board membership and other club business is limited to members. By the club's by-laws, the officers are elected by the board of directors. Any member is eligible to hold office. If interested in serving as officer or board member, please contact the President or other officer or board member.

Adopt a Highway Trash Pickup
The TCRC has adopted a highway. Our piece of highway is in Vestal on NY State Route 26 from Hazel Drive south for about two miles. This part of the highway is on the Vestal 20 course.

Volunteers can meet for breakfast (paid for by the TCRC) at around 7:00 AM at the Skylark Diner, 248 Vestal Parkway E. (just east of Clayton Ave).

Or, if you prefer to skip the free breakfast, report at 8:00 AM to the Vestal High School parking lot to receive training, a safety vest, hard hat, and trash bags. Be sure to wear old clothes, boots or hiking shoes, and bring your own heavy gloves. We will car pool from Vestal High to the start of our section of the highway. Pickup takes about 1.5-2 hours. The more who come out to help, the less time it takes.
